I am at a loss for words to describe the last ever Book Bonanza. It was truly an amazing and beautiful experience that I was able to share with my best friend Jennifer. We laughed, we cried, and best of all, we got to watch an advanced screening of ‘It Ends With Us’ together! The most epic part of that experience is that Colleen Hoover herself, along with Blake Livley, Brandon Sklenar, and Isabela Ferrer watched the movie with us in the same freaking theater! 😳 It was such an emotional rollercoaster. At the end of the movie, the whole theater gave Colleen and the cast a standing ovation. It was such a beautiful moment and a beautiful movie. I can’t wait for everyone to see it! If you haven’t read the book, do it before Aug 9th!
My passion has always been reading. From a young age I found true joy in diving into literature and discussing books with anyone who'd listen; and I haven't stopped since. After acquiring quite a collection of signed books from my favorite authors, meeting new people through book clubs, signings and making lifetime friends (both fiction and non-fiction), I have started my own blog, Hi'D's Book Hub!
When not reading, you can find me out with my husband and friends, venturing to explore new restaurants, and tasting wines from around the world! I married her high school sweetheart and we have three grown children. We recently have become empty nesters as our last baby has gone off to college. In addition to being a bookworm, I love listening to music, going to concerts, and attending Phoenix Coyotes hockey games. I am likely Madonna's number 1 fan and have the tattoo to prove it!
