Steal My Heart by Laura Pavlov has finally arrived, and I’m excited to share that it’s one of my top reads this year! I was introduced to Laura’s books by my best friend, and I’m so grateful she recommended her because I’m completely enamored with her writing! Her stories capture my attention right from the first few pages and never let go. I have a weakness for small-town romances, especially with an enemies-to-lovers twist, and this book had me completely hooked!
The story revolves around Easton Chadwick, a tough and determined attorney who is asked to mentor his boss’s daughter, Henley, a recent law school graduate. Initially, Easton isn’t excited about the idea, but everything changes when he meets Henley. Their workplace banter evolves into something unexpected, and he finds himself unable to stop thinking about her. Also, to his surprise, Henley isn’t what he anticipated; she’s not spoiled and didn’t land the job just because of her father. Instead, she’s a smart Harvard grad with an impressive work ethic!
Will he break his own rule about dating someone he works with, or will he choose to play it safe? You’ll have to grab a copy to see for yourself! I promise you won’t be disappointed!
My passion has always been reading. From a young age I found true joy in diving into literature and discussing books with anyone who'd listen; and I haven't stopped since. After acquiring quite a collection of signed books from my favorite authors, meeting new people through book clubs, signings and making lifetime friends (both fiction and non-fiction), I have started my own blog, Hi'D's Book Hub!
When not reading, you can find me out with my husband and friends, venturing to explore new restaurants, and tasting wines from around the world! I married her high school sweetheart and we have three grown children. We recently have become empty nesters as our last baby has gone off to college. In addition to being a bookworm, I love listening to music, going to concerts, and attending Phoenix Coyotes hockey games. I am likely Madonna's number 1 fan and have the tattoo to prove it!
